A few months ago a good friend of mine sent me an email and this sentence was the main headline.
It got me thinking.
I created my virtual assistant networking group, The VA Tribe years ago with one goal in mind, to build a tribe of women who want to become successful virtual assistants, working from home.
When I first created my group, I was just getting started as a virtual assistant coach and I knew in my bones that I had to try to reach as many women around the world as I could. I knew that if the virtual assistant industry could change my life in such meaningful ways, I had to try to share what I know with women around the world.
I didn’t have all the answers and I still don’t always have all the answers. One thing is certain, I’m always seeking out the truth and trying with all my power to become a better version of myself than I was yesterday.
See just like you, I am also on a journey to becoming the best version of myself as a woman, mother, and business owner.
A lot of times I don’t get it right, and a lot of times I do.
Then there are days where I get messages from my students and clients that make me feel like I just climbed Mount Everest. You know, that top of the peak feeling that makes you feel invincible.
Then there are days where I feel completely inadequate and very scared about the future.
That’s how life and business works. It’s one moment feeling the rush and thrill of accomplishment and the next day feeling like you’ve just been swept up off of your feet, falling face-first on the floor.
I’m learning that no matter how big or small the problem, I will get through it. I will move my way through the thickness of it all and come out on the other side.
I’m able to do this because I’ve invested heavily in my tribe. I know that my tribe has my back and can help me get up if I stumble.
Sharing my wins and losses over the years has called in an amazing tribe of women.
If you’re reading this please know you’re not alone, you are my people, you are my tribe, and I’m honored you are here.
Do me a favor and let me know by adding comment: how our paths crossed, why you’re here, and what, if anything, you’d like to see more of!
